Description
Product Overview
Create a removable work support for detailed jewelry making with Tooltos wooden bench pins and work holders. Choose from four shapes to suit your workpiece, tool access and preferred working position: the classic Style A bench pin, compact Style B holder, wide Style C holder or tall Style D multi-slot holder.
Fit the selected holder to a compatible bench edge for your jewelry-making session, then remove it when you need the surface for other tasks. Each selected option includes one wooden support and one adjustable metal clamp. The four styles are sold separately, not as a complete set.
Key Features
Style A Classic Sawing Support
The flat wooden surface supports small jewelry blanks, while the V-shaped opening leaves room for a saw blade to move. This familiar bench-pin layout suits controlled manual sawing, filing and shaping.
Style B Compact Support Layout
The compact upright shape offers shaped openings for positioning small components. Its layout provides an alternative to a flat bench pin when it better suits your workpiece and preferred tool approach.
Style C Wider Working Surface
The broad upright surface offers a different support area for detailed hand-tool work. Shaped openings let you choose a suitable contact position while leaving access to the area you are working on.
Style D Versatile Support Positions
The tall layout combines horizontal slots with separate angled top rests, offering different support positions for suitable small components. Select the opening or rest that provides appropriate support and tool clearance.
Removable Bench Setup
Clamp the selected holder to a compatible bench edge when needed, then remove it for storage without permanent mounting. The wooden working surface provides a practical support point for your jewelry-making session.
Suitable Applications
- Supporting small jewelry blanks, ring blanks, pendants and wire during suitable hand-tool work.
- Manual sawing with Style A, using the V-shaped opening for blade clearance.
- Light filing, shaping, wax work and thin soft-metal craft tasks where the selected holder provides appropriate support.
- Beginner, hobby and home-studio jewelry workstations with compatible bench edges.
Important Function Clarification
These are manual work supports, not self-centering jewelry vises. The metal clamp attaches the wooden holder to the bench; the workpiece still needs appropriate control. Slots and openings do not automatically grip every shape or make the holder suitable for every operation.
Only Style A has the classic V-shaped sawing opening. Styles B, C and D have different support layouts. Select them according to workpiece fit, working position and tool clearance rather than assuming they are interchangeable.
The approximately 155 mm clamp height is an overall dimension, not a stated maximum jaw opening or compatible tabletop thickness. Confirm bench-edge thickness, shape and underside clearance before ordering. These holders are not intended for heavy-duty machining or large workpieces.

Shared specifications for all styles
- Material: Wooden support and metal clamp.
- Clamp height: Approximately 155 mm / 6.10 in; not a jaw-opening measurement.
- Clamp type: Adjustable screw clamp.

Package Contents
- 1 wooden work support in the selected style: A, B, C or D
- 1 adjustable metal clamp
Disclaimer: Each purchased option contains only the selected wooden holder and its clamp, not all four styles. Saws, files, workpieces and other demonstration tools are not included. Dimensions and weights are approximate.
Basic Operating Steps
- Inspect the selected wooden holder and clamp for damage or loose parts.
- Fit the supplied clamp to the holder mounting area and position the assembly on a compatible, stable bench edge.
- Tighten the screw until secure without overtightening. Check for movement before starting.
- Position the workpiece on an appropriate surface or opening. For Style A sawing, align the cutting area with the V-shaped opening.
- Check tool clearance and use controlled hand pressure while keeping fingers clear of the cutting path.
- After use, loosen the clamp, remove the assembly and store it dry.
Safety Information
- Do not use split wood, loose components or damaged clamp parts.
- Confirm bench stability and clamp security before applying tool pressure.
- Wear suitable eye protection when sawing, filing or cutting metal.
- Keep fingers away from blades, sharp edges, pinch points and cutting areas.
- Do not force workpieces into openings or apply pressure that could split the wood.
- Keep the support clean and dry. Do not use it for heavy-duty machining or as a substitute for a dedicated jewelry vise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which style should I choose?
Choose A for the classic flat bench pin with a V-shaped sawing opening, B for a compact upright layout, C for a wider upright surface, or D for a taller layout with two horizontal slots and separate angled top rests. Match the shape to your workpiece and tool access.
Are all four styles included?
No. Each option includes one wooden support in the selected style and one metal clamp.
Will the clamp fit my table?
Fit depends on clamp opening, tabletop thickness, edge shape and underside clearance. The 155 mm clamp height does not specify tabletop capacity. Confirm compatibility before ordering.
Are saws and files included?
No. The metal clamp is included, but saw frames, blades, files and workpieces are supplied separately.
Can beginners use these holders for ring making?
Yes, for suitable support tasks involving ring blanks and other small jewelry parts. The holder does not automatically clamp the ring. Safe setup, workpiece control and appropriate hand-tool technique are required.
