Casting Workflow Overview
- Prepare wax model — Create or obtain your wax model and attach sprues for metal flow.
- Investment casting — Place wax model in flask, pour investment plaster, and allow to cure.
- Burnout — Heat flask in a separate kiln to remove wax and create the casting cavity.
- Connect vacuum pump — Attach your 2L vacuum pump to the machine via the included hose.
- Melt metal — Place metal in graphite crucible, set temperature, and heat for 30–50 minutes until fully molten.
- Vacuum cast — Place hot flask on vacuum table, lower hood to create seal, activate vacuum pump, and pour molten metal.
- Cool and finish — Allow to cool, break away investment plaster, cut sprues, and polish.
