Description
- 1050°C Recommended Working Temperature — Melts gold, silver, copper, brass, bronze and other alloys in 30–50 minutes. Factory default set to 1050°C for optimal heating element longevity.
- ±5°C Digital Temperature Accuracy — Precise digital control for consistent, repeatable melting results.
- 1KG / 2KG / 3KG Graphite Crucible Options — Choose the capacity that matches your typical casting volume.
- Transparent Vacuum Hood — Aviation-grade plastic for full visibility of the casting process and a reliable vacuum seal.
- 110V / 220V Options — Available for worldwide studio use.
The factory default temperature is set to 1050°C. We recommend working at or near this setting and avoiding unnecessary increases. Running at excessively high temperatures accelerates heating element wear and significantly shortens its service life.
Important: This machine has a temperature overshoot characteristic — the actual chamber temperature may run 50–100°C higher than the displayed set value. Please account for this when setting your working temperature to avoid overheating the heating element and internal components.
Do not run the machine continuously for extended periods. After completing each casting cycle, switch off the machine and allow it to cool completely to room temperature before starting the next cycle. Forcing consecutive casts without full cooling causes cumulative heat buildup that can damage the heating element and internal structure.
The Tooltos Digital Jewelry Vacuum Casting Machine combines melting and vacuum-assisted casting in one compact unit — designed for small jewelry studios, independent jewelers, schools, and lost wax casting beginners. With 2000W heating power, ±5°C digital temperature control, and an aviation-grade transparent vacuum hood, it helps reduce air bubbles and porosity for more consistent casting results. Available with 1KG, 2KG, or 3KG graphite crucible options to match your production volume.
Key Features
- 1050°C Recommended Working Temperature — Factory default. Reaches working temperature in 30–50 minutes. Suitable for gold, silver, copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, and other metals. Maximum rated temperature is 1250°C but sustained operation near the maximum accelerates heating element wear.
- ±5°C Digital Temperature Accuracy — Digital display with precise control for consistent, repeatable melting results.
- Aviation-Grade Transparent Vacuum Hood — Thick plastic construction provides superior vacuum seal and full visibility of the casting process.
- Accurate Pressure Gauge — Real-time vacuum pressure monitoring for optimal casting results.
- Durable Black Steel Housing — Professional-grade construction built for daily workshop use.
- 1KG / 2KG / 3KG Crucible Options — Select the crucible capacity that matches your typical casting volume at the time of purchase.
- Universal Voltage — Available in 110V and 220V for worldwide use.

Casting Workflow Overview
- Prepare wax model — Create or obtain your wax model and attach sprues for metal flow.
- Investment casting — Place wax model in flask, pour investment plaster, and allow to cure.
- Burnout — Heat flask in a separate burnout furnace to remove wax and create the casting cavity.
- Connect vacuum pump — Attach your vacuum pump (min. 2L, purchased separately) to the machine via the included hose.
- Melt metal — Place metal in graphite crucible, set temperature, and heat for 30–50 minutes until fully molten.
- Vacuum cast — Place hot flask on vacuum table, lower hood to create seal, activate vacuum pump, and pour molten metal.
- Cool and finish — Allow to cool, break away investment plaster, cut sprues, and polish.
Professional Tips
- The factory default temperature is 1050°C — work at or near this setting based on your metal's melting point. Avoid raising the temperature unnecessarily; higher temperatures accelerate heating element wear and significantly shorten its service life.
- This machine has a temperature overshoot characteristic — the actual chamber temperature may run 50–100°C higher than the displayed set value. Account for this margin when setting your working temperature to avoid overheating the heating element.
- After each casting cycle, switch off the machine and allow it to cool completely to room temperature before starting the next cycle. Do not judge cooling by the exterior surface temperature — use the digital display as reference. This machine is designed for single-cycle intermittent operation, not continuous multi-cast runs.
- Avoid high-impurity metals such as sand gold — they can damage the graphite crucible.
- Pour molten metal immediately after melting for best flow characteristics.
- A minimum 2L capacity vacuum pump is required for proper vacuum performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a vacuum pump included?
No. A minimum 2L capacity vacuum pump is required for operation and must be purchased separately. The Tooltos 4CFM 1/3HP Vacuum Pump is compatible and available on our store.
What metals can I cast?
Gold, silver, copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, and any metal with a melting point below 1250°C. Avoid high-impurity metals. Platinum is not suitable — it melts at 1768°C, exceeding this machine's maximum rated temperature.
Do I need a burnout furnace?
Yes, if you are doing lost wax casting. A separate burnout furnace is required to burn out the wax before casting. It is not included with this machine.
How long does melting take?
Typically 30–50 minutes depending on metal type and quantity.
Can I do continuous casting?
No. This machine must cool completely to room temperature between casting cycles. It is designed for single-cycle intermittent operation. Forcing consecutive casts without full cooling will damage the heating element and internal components.
Which crucible size should I choose?
1KG for small jewelry, 2KG for general use (most popular), 3KG for larger pieces or batch melting.
Which voltage should I select?
110V for USA and Canada. 220V for Europe, UK, Australia, and most of Asia.
