Description
The Tooltos 1800W Digital Gold Jewelry Electric Melting Furnace with Protective Grid reaches 1050°C in approximately 45 minutes with PID digital temperature control and ±5°C accuracy. The added protective grid provides an extra layer of safety during operation. The high-temperature resistant ceramic chamber and premium ceramic crucible deliver reliable, repeatable results for metal casting and alloying. Please note: the ceramic crucible is not suitable for melting precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, etc.). It is ideal for copper, aluminum, and other non-precious metals.
Key Features
- Protective Grid Included — Additional safety barrier during high-temperature operation, distinguishing this model from the standard version.
- PID Digital Temperature Control (±5°C) — Advanced PID module with K-type thermocouple monitors furnace temperature every 2 seconds, preventing overheating or cooling.
- High-Temperature Resistant Ceramic Chamber — Quartz lid and inner tank construction for fast heating up to 1050°C within 45 minutes.
- Premium Ceramic Crucible — Excellent heat resistance and chemical stability. Fluted groove design facilitates easy pouring and filling of molten metal. Not suitable for melting precious metals (gold, silver, platinum); ideal for copper, aluminum, and other non-precious metals.
- 1KG / 2KG / 3KG Crucible Options — Select the crucible capacity that matches your typical melting volume at the time of purchase.
- Universal Voltage — Available in 110V and 220V for worldwide use.

⚠️ Important Safety Warnings
Heating Element Protection & Usage Cycle
This unit ships with a default temperature setting of 1050°C. We recommend making only minor adjustments from this baseline as needed, and avoiding large increases. Setting the temperature too high accelerates heating element wear and significantly shortens its service life.
Note: This unit has a temperature overshoot characteristic — the actual chamber temperature may run 50–100°C higher than the value shown on the display. Please account for this margin and avoid setting the temperature so high that the actual chamber temperature exceeds safe operating limits, which could damage the heating element and the unit.
Do not run the unit continuously for extended periods. After each casting cycle, power off the machine and allow it to cool completely to room temperature before starting the next cycle. Continuous use causes heat to accumulate inside the chamber, which can damage the heating elements and internal components.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this furnace melt precious metals like gold or silver?
No. The ceramic crucible is not compatible with precious metals (gold, silver, platinum), as it may react with or contaminate the melt. This furnace is designed for copper, aluminum, and other non-precious metals.
Which crucible size should I choose?
1KG for small batches, 2KG for general use (most popular), 3KG for larger pieces or batch melting.
How long does it take to reach maximum temperature?
Approximately 45 minutes to reach 1050°C. Melting typically takes 20–40 minutes depending on metal type and quantity.
