No. This machine is designed for vacuum investing and mold degassing only. It does not heat or melt metal. A separate melting furnace is required for metal casting.
Do I still need a burnout furnace?
Yes. For lost wax casting, you need a burnout furnace to remove wax and preheat the investment flask before using this machine.
What is the maximum flask size?
The casting chamber accommodates flasks up to 4" × 7". A 3.5" × 4" stainless steel mold is included.
