Frequently Asked Questions
Can this furnace burn out wax from investment molds?
No. This furnace is designed for flask preheating and plaster investment mold preparation only. A separate wax burnout process must be completed before using this furnace.
How long does it take to reach 800°C?
Approximately 30 minutes under normal operating conditions.
What is the maximum flask size?
The chamber accommodates flasks up to 4" × 7".
Is this a metal melting furnace?
No. This furnace is not designed for metal melting. For metal melting, a dedicated melting furnace is recommended.
Why is the temperature locked when I receive the furnace?
The furnace ships with a temperature lock for safety. Follow the unlock procedure above to enable free temperature adjustment.
What voltage options are available?
Available in 110V and 220V. Select the correct voltage for your region at the time of purchase.
Should I choose this model or the 1150°C model?
If you need entry-level flask preheating for casting preparation, this 800°C model is the most cost-effective choice. If you need higher-temperature flask preheating or want an observation window for real-time monitoring, choose the 1150°C model.
