Description

Product Overview

Keep small jewelry components aligned while you prepare a solder joint. The Tooltos adjustable helping hands uses two independently adjustable arms with metal tweezers to support positioning during jewelry soldering, assembly and repair.

Choose the version with a ceramic honeycomb board for an included heat-resistant working surface, or select the version without a board to use with your existing suitable soldering surface. A round metal base supports the adjustable arm assembly on your workbench.

Key Features

Independently Adjustable Dual Arms

Position each arm separately to align small parts at a practical working angle for your jewelry project.

Metal Holding Tweezers

Support wires, chain components and other small metal parts while leaving your hands available for the next step.

Multi Angle Positioning

Adjust the arm height and joint angles to suit the component and joint location. The listed maximum clamp reach is 290 mm.

Choice of Soldering Surface

The board version includes a 165 mm diameter ceramic honeycomb board. The board-free version is intended for use with a separate suitable heat-resistant surface.

Suitable Applications

  • Holding and aligning small components for jewelry soldering and repair
  • Positioning ring components, chain links and wire connections
  • Small metal component assembly and jewelry making

Important Function Clarification

This is a positioning and holding fixture, not a heat source or soldering machine. A suitable torch or other soldering equipment must be supplied separately. The ceramic board is included only with the board version; it does not make the metal arms or joints suitable for direct flame exposure. No maximum holding load or temperature rating is specified in this listing.

  2. Adjust both arms and tweezers to the required positions before heating.

  • Do not force the joints or use the tweezers to support heavy parts. Check stability before working.
  • Allow heated parts to cool before touching or adjusting them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which version should I choose?

Choose the board version if you need the included ceramic honeycomb working surface. Choose the version without a board if you already have a suitable heat-resistant soldering surface.

Can I adjust the arms separately?

Yes. Both arms have adjustable joints for independent positioning.

Is soldering equipment included?

No. This fixture holds and positions components. Soldering equipment must be supplied separately.

Can I solder without the ceramic honeycomb board?

Yes. The version without a board can be used with a separate suitable heat-resistant soldering surface. Do not solder directly on an unprotected workbench.

Can the arms and tweezers be adjusted during soldering?

Set the arm positions and check component alignment before heating. Allow the workpiece, tweezers and nearby parts to cool before touching or repositioning them.
